| Boston 2009 |
We went to Boston one day early to take in some of the history. We followed the and were just amazed at some of the sites. The old area of Boston is quite small so this walk took only a few hours. Then we tasted some pretty incredible clam chowder and did some shopping at the Quincy Market and Fanneuil Hall.
Meditech training is designed so that there is no homework - we sat at their computers loaded with their software, were presented with the information, had time for hands-on practise and note-taking. When we left for the day our heads were full! So then we just took the train into town to eat and play. We stayed at Dedham, about 20 minutes south on the commuter train. I got to have my lobster dinner, some folks went to see the Red Sox lose to the Blue Jays, there was an evening of dinner in little Italy followed by a visit to an Improv club, and on the last evening we went to an upscale mall that is just opening very near our hotel.
The beautiful atrium in the photos is of the Meditech building at Canton, where our training occurred. This building is located on an old farm that was once used for sulky races. The racecourse and stables are still there but the horses are not.
